The 1990 Fishing Trip

Blue Haven, Dalhousie Lake

Phil and Big Al tie for the Canette!

Blue Haven on Dalhousie Lake in McDonald's Corners, Ontario was perfect for us, and we loved it. Blue Haven is a rustic old fishing cottage with no running water, but the price was an unbelievable $190.00 for four days, with a boats and motors included! We were a small group so that worked out to $40.00 per person!

A tie for the Canette

Dalhousie Lake is not a large lake so there were no lunkers caught on the weekend. Big Al and Phil tied for the largest fish of the weekend, each catching a 4-pound northern pike.

Fishermen on the 1990 trip included Phil Anderson, Al Heaney, Warren Kidd, Al Macintyre and Ron Zinn.
