The trip that almost didn't happen

Smoking cigarettes and watching Captain Kangaroo, this was the trip that almost did not happen. With no reservations anywhere, Curt Bowles invited us to stay at his place in Rockland and fish on the Ottawa River. Nice idea... but it didn't quite work out. This trip was the beginning of the end of Curt's Place in Rockland.

Apparitions and possible sightings of Diane Bowles were seen throughout the weekend, mostly just before dawn. Many of the apparitions were of a drunk Diane flicking a light switch and saying, “oh fuck”.
