The Hillbilly Hare with a Red Solo Cup

Not too hot and not too cool, this was a perfect weekend for fishing! It was another barbecuarama with the Admiral cooking breakfasts. Macintyre kept us smiling all weekend with his newly acquired iPod loaded with 72 of his favorites including the audio from Bugs Bunny's "Hillbilly Hare" and Toby Keith's "Red Solo Cup".

Phil bounced back after 25 years to take The Canette with a 4-pound lake sturgeon. This was Phil's first win since 1990 when he tied Big Al at Blue Haven. Welcome back Phil!

Frank got stiffed last year and as we understood it, he didn't catch any fish. This year he dazzled us with a new rod and reel and caught some bass. Still a week before the opening of bass season, Frank was not disappointed with a two-pound largemouth and some half pound smallmouths.

Gamblers and fishermen at our 2014 trip at Nangor included all the regulars: Phil Anderson, Al Davis, Frank Franchellini, Al Heaney, Warren Kidd, Al Macintyre and Ron Zinn.
